If you use Gmail then the Rapportive plugin is just the one for you! I have been using the plugin for about a week now and i absolutely love it! Being able to view the social media information such as tweets Facebook updates and not to mention a list of older gmail conversations has been a great help to me. Though initially skeptical within a week i have come to rely on the tool greatly!

If you are still skeptical, then the news that LinkedIn just 15 days back acquired the plugin for a wooping sum of $15 Million. That should tell you how awesome the plugin is.
What the plugin exactly does is that it replaces the ads that Google shows besides the email content with the social media profile information of the sender of the mail as you can see from the picture below :
Just hover over the network that you want information on and Rapportive will do its magic!
It even allows you to comment directly to the latest Facebook feed as shown above.
It is a great app and i am sure that you guys will love it!
